Right now our charity of the year is the Wellspring in Stockport.
The Wellspring
The Wellspring supports the people of Stockport that are homeless or at risk of losing their home. They provide the resources, understanding, and care that they need inside the community that they provide. Their professional staff and dedicated volunteers are there to understand the complex and individual challenges of every service user and help them make positive changes to their lives.
They respond to a combination of issues surrounding housing, physical & mental health, domestic violence, substance misuse, debt, unemployment, illiteracy, and social exclusion.
With the cost of living crisis affecting so many families, we know times are tough — and we want to help wherever we can. Supporting our clients is at the heart of everything we do, but we don’t stop there.
At Sphere, we take our environmental and social responsibility seriously. It matters to us that we’re doing business the right way, and that means looking after more than just finances.
Here are a few things we’re proud of:
- We’re 90% paperless — and working hard on the final 10%! We keep things digital wherever possible to reduce waste.
- We limit travel and car share whenever we can. Our team lives and works locally, and we’re mindful of keeping our footprint small.
- We give back to our community — supporting local schools, grassroots sports clubs, community gyms and neighbourhood projects.
- We don’t just talk about support — we get involved! Last year, our team took on the challenge of walking 1,000,000 steps a week for 4 weeks to raise money for charity. And we’re always up for the next one.

£399 – Standard Residential Mortgage.
£249 – Existing Sphere Financial Services Customer.
£99 – Application for additional borrowing from your current lender.
£49 – Product Transfer application with your current lender.
Our advice fee for an Equity Release Mortgage is £1,395.
